Busatti Pomelo Anthracite Gray Oven Mitt Set

The origin of these sturdy, striped fabrics got lost over the centuries of Busatti history. But they were captured through the tales of rural housewives in the Tuscan hills who required particularly long lasting heavy duty fabrics.

The popularity was such that since then sales spread far beyond our hills and valleys. Evidence can be found in some local paintings at the end of 1800’s on kitchen towels and aprons.

With every wash it gets softer and softer. Each mitt is lined with white off-white 100% cotton Terry and has a loop for easy hanging.
