A very popular dessert from the Basque country, on the border of Spain and France, is sheep cheese and locally made black cherry jam, or rather "fromage de brebis & confiture de cerises noires". Jean Vier dedicated a black and red tea towel to this special tradition of the people of Basque.

  • The extremely high quality of cotton thread produces a fabric which is both soft and hardwearing,
  • The large size (24'x35') means it can also make an attractive wall covering,
  • The very precise manufacturing process at House of Jean-Vier minimises the risk of shrinkage and guarantees colourfastness for colours that stay vibrant wash after wash,
  • The tight weave produces fine precision motifs in a great variety of designs.
